The Hotel Aiken has been an icon of Aiken, South Carolina since 1898. For over a century it welcomed guests and created many memories, before finally closing its doors in 2018. Though it’s set to undergo a complete renovation, this piece serves as both a tribute to its past and an embrace of its future.
Places like this may change, but the memories they hold live on. My hope is that the new Hotel Aiken will continue to create lasting moments for generations to come.
